After a freak global event, a struggling musician realizes he is the only person on Earth who can remember The Beatles.

Jack Malik (Himesh Patel) is a struggling singer-songwriter in a tiny English seaside town whose dreams of fame are rapidly fading, despite the fierce devotion and support of his childhood best friend, Ellie (Lily James). Then, after a freak bus accident during a mysterious global blackout, Jack wakes up to discover that The Beatles have never existed... and he finds himself with a very complicated problem, indeed. How do you face the world with all those magnificent songs in your head? How will those around you react when you play them ‘Let it Be’, or ‘All You Need is Love’? With Danny Boyle (‘Slumdog Millionaire’) directing a Richard Curtis (‘Notting Hill’, ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’) script to the tune of the Lennon/ McCartney catalogue, this ‘dramedy’ is sure to be one of the most enjoyable cinema experiences of the year. You will be wanting to get up off your cinema seats and sing with all your heart.
